MINISCALE PLUS – the unique miniature guideway with integral measuring system

Reliable and precise

MINISCALE PLUS is constantly accurate and reliable. Measurements are conducted directly as part of normal operation, which significantly reduces Abbe errors. The linearity is ± 5 µm over one meter, with a resolution of 0.1 µm. We offer analog 1 Vss and digital TTL output signals. MINISCALE PLUS is immune to vibrations and shocks since it is a single unit. The MINISCALE PLUS is one single unit and is therefore insensitive to vibrations and shocks. The analysis of the thermal elongation and the compensation expense for the controller are reduced, since the measuring scale is a part of the carriage and MINISCALE PLUS measures the actual position as feedback for the regulation. Since MINISCALE PLUS is based on the successful MINIRAIL design, even service-life values are ultimately comparable. MINISCALE PLUS is the right solution for many applications.

Integrated, compact design

MINISCALE PLUS is based on the MINIRAIL miniature guideway, consisting of eight rail widths and up to four carriage types. In other words, wherever MINIRAIL can be installed, the MINISCALE PLUS also fits, with the added benefit of the integrated measuring system! Since the measuring sensor is integrated into the carriage and the dimensional scale is mounted directly onto the guideway, no additional installation space is required. This compact application simplifies assembly and installation.
