The latest development in the field of integrated magneto resistive linear encoders from SCHNEEBERGER is the MONORAIL AMSABS 3L, which is designed for the construction of particularly long axes based on the roller profile rail guide MONORAIL MR.

Incremental profile rail with rollers type AMSA 3B analog and incremental with rollers type AMSD 3B digital

The MONORAIL AMS 3B product is also based on the roller profile rail guide MONORAIL MR and is available in analog or digital versions. The analog version AMSA 3B features a 1 Vpp analog interface for connection with all common controllers and forms the basis for the digital version AMSD 3B. The profile rails are therefore identically designed and compatible with both versions.

For the ball profile rail guide MONORAIL BM, SCHNEEBERGER developed the integrated magneto resistive linear encoder AMS 4B. In terms of measurement technology, it corresponds to the AMS 3B and therefore offers the same advantages in terms of installation, cost savings, accuracy, and process reliability. AMS 4B products are preferably used when high demands are placed on travel speed and the dynamic properties of the axes. The two existing versions AMSD 4B and AMSA 4B differ in that AMSD 4B has an incremental digital interface, and AMSA has a 1 Vpp analog interface for connection with all common controllers. The AMSA 4B forms the basis for the AMSD 4B.
