Our sales representatives support you in planning your desired special solution. Upon request, anti-friction guideways can be manufactured outside the standard dimensions. In some applications, however, sliding guideways / plain bearings are more suitable than rolling bearings. These guideways are available in the standardized dimensions of rolling bearings or custom-made to your specifications.
For customized anti-friction guideways, tailored solutions are possible that are not standardized. The linear guideways are typically made from through-hardened tool steel, and single-piece rails can be produced in various lengths. To create a precise offer, the requirements for surface quality, grinding pattern, raceways, and accuracy must be clearly defined.
SCHNEEBERGER offers steel bars for sliding guideways, which are coated with a sliding layer selected by the customer and then ground to finish. Standardized or customized external dimensions can be chosen, and lubrication grooves can be added to the sliding layer upon request. To provide a precise offer, the requirements for surface quality, grinding pattern, raceways, and accuracy must be described in detail.
