At EMO, SCHNEEBERGER will present a profile rail guide with an integrated position measurement system. This system offers machine builders high precision, a compact design and cost efficiency.

By embedding the position feedback directly into the rail, the system saves space during installation, simplifies the commissioning process, and provides absolute position data as soon as it is switched on. Its robust IP68-rated design resists shocks, vibrations and contamination, while integrated condition monitoring reduces maintenance requirements.

The modular rail system supports virtually unlimited measuring lengths and continuous measurements across joints, as well as the easy replacement of segments. It is compatible with major CNC controls and protocols, such as Siemens DRIVE-CLiQ, FANUC, Mitsubishi, SSI and BiSS, enabling fast 'plug-and-work' integration.
